FIRMENPROFIL Our client is an international and very competetive Automotive Supplier Aufgabengebiet - Manage the Applications Engineering responsibilities for our products and technologies for new and existing European automotive customer´s applications. - Develop with the applications engineers, design proposals and products to meet customer requirements. - Provide input into design proposals, including sizing, priority and requirements. - Manage Customer program timing for engineering activities necessary to meet key milestones and overall program timelines. - Review technical requirements, help develop DVP&Rs, review DFMEAs- Support the review of vehicle warranty data and necessary actions for improvement.- Thoroughly review and approve all root cause/ corrective action documents for European customer issues- Provide technical support to our customers during vehicle development, launch, and production phases.- Provide technical support to the customer, manufacturing plants, assembly plants, and the sales department during sourcing, vehicle development, launch, and production.- Communicate customer needs and concerns throughout all levels of the organization both verbally and through various written texts and presentations.- Actively interface with other engineering, manufacturing and sales functions within the organization. Anforderungsprofil - Dipl.- Ing. Degree in mechanical engineering related field or other relevant technical degree- Wheel bearing experience with strong understanding of wheel bearing - Experience with managing projects from concept to production- Ability to develop strong customer relationships - Ability to successfully function in a global style of management & manage a variety of cross-functional teams.- Strong problem solving, planning, decision-making & interpersonal skills.- Facilitates engineering coordination - Must be willing to travel globally and work excess hours when needed. - Strong production knowledge - Skillful troubleshooter with an analytical mind, as well as strong technical and mechanical aptitude.- Understanding of engineering prints and specifications.- Proficiency in written and oral communications in German and English
